Juniata and Mifflin Counties are now in the midst of developing a Regional Tourism Plan.  It is being prepared in cooperation with the Juniata Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and the new Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau.  The Plan is being assembled with the professional assistance of Shepstone Management Company.  It is being funded with financial assistance from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, which also manages the Commowealth's tourism program - one of the best in the nation.  Pennsylvania's new ExperiencePA.com is an example of this leadership.
