The Town of Jefferson recently adopted a Comprehensive Plan with the help of the Schoharie County Planning and Development Department and the consulting firm of Shepstone Management Company.  Several meetings were held during the process.  A copy of the presentation made at the first public meeting may be obtained here.  A special public survey was also conducted and was discussed at that time.  This survey form is available here and the complete results are here.  Minutes of Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee meetings are also posted here:

The Comprehensive Plan may be reviewed at this website as they are developed for review by Town officials.  The Plan is expected to be completed in 2007.  A draft of a revised Subdivision Law was prepared by Shepstone Management Company for the Steering Committee's consideration.   A draft Wind Energy Facilities Law has also been prepared and a presentation on wind power issues around which the draft law is focused may also be found here.
